I recently installed the dirty deeds 6” muffler and considering LT headers. I see them listed on eBay for around $600. I’m curious to know if that’s all I need or are there additional parts necessary? I’ve read that Keith charges roughly $3k for the entire setup that adds around 50whp and wondering what more than long tubes does it take to achieve those gains.

You will need new mid pipes. If you buy the JBA mid pipes, you loose cats and will either need O2 simulators or a DAP tune and have Dustin disable/hide the code that will be thrown by not having cats. Other option is to send Keith your cats and he can build a custom mid pipe section using them and you will not have code issues. That is the route I am going to go one day.

While 50hp is great its definitely not "huge" and a bit tough to justify at the $3k cost. On my E63 i gained nearly 180HP and 218FT-LB for $3500, now thats "HUGE". With that said DP's for my E63 would gain about 30HP at a cost of anywhere from $2000 all the way to $4500. Not justified and the reason I didn't do them. Now, If I can install JBA LTH for under $1k(i already have DD 6" system) and gain those 50 ponies I can say its justified but not for $3k.

Give Keith aka @dirtydeeds a call, he sells the JBA headers and can build you mid pipes, using your cats or with new aftermarket cats. From when I talked with him, he recommends reusing the Toyota factory cats if possible.

It's also close to 90 lbs of TQ, reason I also bought the JBA back. The whole exhaust is 3" mandrel bent with the secondary cats in place of the primary cats, secondary cats usually flow better than original primary cats.
