Thanks! I told him I wanted clearance and to make it look like it came from the factory like that. He definitely did a great job at it!

Finally had time to cut, code my “Flip key fob”. Works great and now only need one key. My son thought it was a “MINI KNIFE BLADE” when I pressed the key flip button....haha

Don’t know if this works the same but one of our airplanes was hit once by a vehicle. The insurance company told us that as long as everything was replaced with OEM parts it won’t constitute a repair and won’t appear as damage history. If only the door is damaged see if the shop is willing to buy a new door at the dealer and forgo the claims process

I dropped the truck off yesterday. I also asked about the process to file a diminished value claim along with this. The insurance company said after the repair I have to take the truck to get it appraised by a dealer to determine the loss amount.

It would be awesome if it didn’t show up as a repair and we are right back to the way it was before.

Replaced the cabin air filter. Who’d have thought it would get this dirty in less than two years and 17k miles?

Look under your end caps. Are there bolts missing? If I recall they might be the ones on the brace that holds the front valance and the end cap together. There were alot of those.

I put a K&N lifetime in mine at about 18k, I couldn't believe the crap that was in the OEM. Plus the smell and air quality is much nicer.

Well, the grille surround and good bulge look like shit for the amount of money I paid. They are darker. The end caps look ok but I didn’t know they were going to be cheap ass plastic that feels like the fog lights are doomed. I should have just plastidipped this shit. Live and learn I guess.

Sux sorry to hear u not happy. I didn't know about cement being hard to match but I can see how it could be. My color mgm is notorious for it. Even threads on it. I paid for a hood bulge in mgm from fellow member trying to replace the scratch on mine from my sons trampoline being blown onto. Same prob not a close enough match. Was so off mine I preferred and did keep the scratched one instead and resold that one hoping the next member to get had better luck matching. Maybe I would've kept if replacing chrome but since mine already matched nicely, I felt it was better to keep the match n scratch over a non scratched non color match. Like u said live n learn.

I must have gotten lucky with my MGM matching (hood buldge and surround for pro grille).

I need to do my bumpers. I saw the replacement pieces for color were plastic.. I didn’t really like that either, so i decided to stick with the chrome covered steel.

Instead of plastidip I’m going to have the powder coated. I don’t what to have to redo it every few months due to rock chips and other such road shrapnel. It’s more expensive but I think it’ll turn out better and last longer. I think I like the whole bumper being the same color over the color matched ends anyway. With MGM it probably won’t be super noticeable either way.

I feel ya on that. Typically the grill surround and bulge doesnt match well with the body from toyota. My pro grill the center piece top sections were all undersprayed. A few returns and they were all the same. Finally just said **** it. My end caps were chrome and just had those painted. Matched well.

Yeah Toyota's paint is shit. I love my mgm color and actually like all the tundra colors. However, they paint so thin, it's like they opted for the cheap route on paint. Look at the paint wrong and it scratches. Between the excessively thin coat of paint and how quickly my mgm gets dirty (like a small step below being black) I feel like toyota is forcing me to get a coating done to it. Least this way, it'll hopefully stay cleaner a little longer, might not scratch as easily, and will make the often needed washes only take 1/2 the time a normal wash.

    Rant over

Meh...it's about a 10min drive from the landscape supply to my house, then it's just offloading time. 3 loads a year gets it done. Air would be nice for this and towing. Maybe one day. Supercharger first. Haha

I put the Firestone ride rite airbags on mine, little over $300. Well worth it. Super charger would be nice, but not in my budget. Lol
