I wish Toyota would go ahead and announce the 2019 Tundra details (other than the TRD Pro that they have shown with the Tacoma and 4Runner). If they're going to add Entune 3.0 with CarPlay and Remote Connect I'd like to know so that I can decide on a 2018, or wait for the 2019. I know that any aftermarket unit would be better but I'd prefer it to be there when I purchase the truck. Obviously since they have shown off the 19 Pro I don't expect many visual changes to the style, which I'm completely fine with since I love the 3rd generation look so much. I just want them to catch up in the tech department, plus whatever I end up purchasing will be my truck for at least the next 10 years so it would be nice to start out with the same new tech the other truck brands already have.

Well, if you want the "new tech" like keyless entry, pushbutton start, etc. you probably will have to wait until the next generation comes out. Besides that I would think they will be more fuel efficient.

I wouldn't expect the 19 to get push button start, but if they can put Entune 3.0 in the other models they've announced so far this year they can definitely put it in the 19 Tundras, Tacomas, etc...

So here's some info regarding the Canadian Tundra 2019 anyway.
Can't find confirmation that this SX package is also available on the crewmax, our list only shows it under our double cab currently.

    Pro is also crewmax

That's been a factory option. I think know it was about $250 when I priced it out. I ended up buying the aftermarket version for over half that.

Cool thanks didn’t know that was an option. Have the aftermarket one of my list of things to do in the future.

I wish that the chart had info for the Limited model CrewMax. I feel like the Limited should also have the power tailgate standard, hell the SR5 and up should have it as standard.

Auto up down windows for driver/passenger would be nice on limited too.

I honestly didn't know this wasn't standard on the Limited. It's sort of ridiculous how Toyota can't have standard equipment on the Limited almost $50k truck. My wife's 2016 Sienna LE even has this feature.

Agreed my limited with added goodies was 51k and I was shocked it didn’t have that.

I didn't know my Limited didn't have JBL radio until I had it in my driveway and thought the radio was kind of weak. I researched for months and months, but apparently not keenly enough to pick up on the fact that it wasn't standard on the Limited, like my wife's old Highlander was. My fault, but seems to not make sense.

Yeah I've noticed there is the Limited model, but if it doesn't have the Limited Premium package you don't get JBL or color matched bumper

Mine is a 2017. I don't recall what packages I have anymore, but I didn't have JBL. My back bumper was color matched, but the fronts were chrome. My main want was the sunroof, heated seats and dual climate, which mine had.

I'm just gonna wait on the 19 Limited and see if they add anything of value to it. If not I'll just buy a 2018 Limited CM.

    A bunch
Highly doubt they will based on the lack of changes for the 1794 and Platinum. Right now they are just finishing out the production run before the new generation (2020 or 2021). 2018 was the addition of TSS and expansion of LED lighting, 2019 was about the renewed TRD Pro.

As long as they update to Entune 3 with CarPlay standard I'll go with 2019. I don't want major changes as I love the current generation

Using one of those $8 magnet mounts on your vent works well for a portable Car Play experience =)

Nothing new being added on other trim levels. As far as we've been told the only changes/updates or whatever is on that chart. All other trim levels will be carry over.
Limited I believe only has driver side auto up and down, sadly Platinum is where you get both front... only front.. should be all 5 like my wifes Runner, but Toyota does weird shit.

Not much to write home about, getting closer to just keeping the 16 I have, buying out the lease and adding the pro suspension and headlights.

Just curious - why would you think they would make it more fuel efficient?
