What home improvement work did you do today?

Worked 8hrs, rode dirt bikes with my son, gave kids a bath and read book to daughter before she went to bed. Once kids went to sleep waxed the Tundra!

 

Forgot to take pictures but replaced mulch with 2 yards of river stones. 100 degree heat outside made it really fun

 

I know it looks gross didnt realize back side of my house looked so rough cleaned the vinyl

Man actually just some dawn soap, vinegar and hot water. I scrubbed the shit out of each piece of vinyl and then rinsed with the hose.

 

Try some TSP and bleach. Works really well and don't have to scrub a ton.

Finished the chicken coop today. 4'x4' raised coop with nesting boxes off the back, a huge clean-out door (to make cleaning the coop easier for my kids) and 2 perches. Tomorrow the chickens move in and I am able to reclaim my garage.

Finished the bed extender

 

Haaaaa….this thread is right up my alley.

cut grass and removed some left behind furniture from an investment house in preparation for a crew that arrives tomorrow to cut down an old laurel oak that's half dead...…..then worked thru about 8 boxes of laminate flooring at another house.

 

Added some rock around my mailbox to improve curb appeal (now I gotta paint the post again!) Did a post-emergence weed/feed to my lawn. Eagerly waiting for them to get rid of the dumpster across the street and finish that house.

Did a little landscaping in the back. Now that its rained I can dig holes and finish planting plants!

 

cleared and loaded approximately 50 cubic yards of slash from the property

 

Hit a sprinkler head with the mower on Friday that did not retract. Had to dig down to replace the whole assembly. 1 inch of dirt and 9 inches of rock/gravel soil. 2 hours and a $4 sprinkler head assembly and the sprinkler system works again.

 

Well, re-did the landscaping, laid new floors in the master bath, new counters in the kitchen. Getting it ready for the next homeowners because we're tearing ass to Music City in 2 weeks!!! Still gotta door the kitchen floor and replace the patio door and paint 2 rooms in 5 days until they come take pics and list it on the 22nd!!

 

I love that flooring dude!! Now I know who to bother when I get my laminate flooring in when I go to redo the main flooring throughout my house!!

 

It's funny because now that I've done it a few times I can do it fairly quickly! Ill shoot some finished pics when I get home today and post em up for ya!
