Why am I getting such poor mileage

Thats Chicago baby. Cheaper than the last one which was $3.94. Hence the reason my daily driver

 

Glad to see another commie contributor. I can't wait to get out of this failed county and hopefully state. Where are you by? I'm close to Narraganset and Irving Park

 

Just driving the car as a freeway commuter, I’ve gotten as high as 19.5 mpg.
What I’ve noticed is that if I sit still (like to make a call, eat lunch on the fly,etc...) with the engine running, it ruins mpg pretty fast- stopping for trains and lights, too.

Round town, I can usually keep it to around 15-16.

Did a bunch of hauling a couple weeks ago (rock, sod, garbage) with a trailer, and got about 13-14.

I m by Clark and Peterson. Every 3 months, i think of moving somehere but i still havent found i m looking for.....
