Hey, I’m kind of new here but I have a couple questions about this set up. I’m about to order a set of 6112. I have a 2012 Tundra SR5 TRD Off Road. Was going to set it at either 1.3 or 1.9. Doing it more for the suspension upgrade than the lift. Does anyone know if any of these are in stock anywhere? And anyone who has installed these how do you like them over the 4600 shocks? And any suggestions on what setting between the 2 I listed would be appreciated. Sorry for all the questions. I’m kind of new at this.
    Thanks

They are on a national backorder with no concrete eta.

Welcome from Arizona. There are a lot of threads on here about the Bilstein setup that you're considering. I can't help you with the availability question; everything that I've read recently indicates that the 6112's are backordered everywhere and no firm dates regarding availability (although I did see one thread indicating that they might be available late this month). Also, from what I've read, the 1.9 inch setting seems to be the most popular as it 'levels' the truck. Finally, those that have done the swap speak highly of the ride improvement over stock.

    Good luck with your project.

Thank you. So if I find a set in stock I should grab them? I’ll probably have to call and make sure they are actually in stock.

The nice thing about the 6112's is they are re-buildable and have a larger shock body. Like others said, they are on national back order with no ETA of arrival.

How do you think they compare to ToyTec Boss set up?

Actually they are coming in now. I ordered mine on May 30 and received them June 1. The wait is finally over!

I didn't think they were re-buildable. Are they?

I dont have any personal experience with them so I cannot compare the two.

Allegedly, yes. But I have not seen of any being re-built yet. (Probably due to them being so new on the market.)

No complaints but they only work for up to 3" lift

I was told they were not, and I believe that was direct from Bilstein.

Still, awesome unit! Hope they start to hit shelves soon.

For availability, I searched the web everyday. That's what I did and lucked out. I got the last one from a company inventory and getting it this Thursday.

Ive priced the TRD Pro Suspension and they are right at $2600 from my local dealer (with my discount). I've also looked at the 6112's but like every one mentioned they are on back order. Does anyone know what the TRD Pro Suspension (part #PTR13-34140) comes-with in the box (Front and Rear?). Does it come with the Struts & Spring? What is the level it’s set to? In retrospect comparing to the 6112's which i believe comes with everything that is needed and run about $1200 on Amazon.
