I wanted for us to band together in this issue. I get bad bed bounce and I'm disappointed that Toyota thinks they have resolved the issue. Please join in and file a compliant and lets hold them accountable for this problem. I love this truck but this has been a huge disappointment. I already emailed them but they haven't responded.

    http://www.toyota.com/support/contact-us

I will post their response to me.

You have the DC, apparently those got fixed but the CM was left to bounce.

That link seems to imply that the problem is 1st and 2nd Gen problems only.
Also for the OP. If you lifted your truck, good luck getting Toyota to do anything.

No. I have a DC and I get bed bounce. I think all the tundras have it, some just haven't experienced it yet. Since it only does it on certain concrete highways at certain speeds. California, particularly So.Cal, seems to be a little worse than other parts of the country. Personally, if I commuted daily with my tundra and had to encounter bed bounce twice a day... That would drive me absolutely crazy. Luckily, I take the train.

The bed bounce is because of the flexible frame. Not sure if they will be doing anything about it.

Hey guys, these are trucks! Throw some weight in the bed, drop the air pressure in the back tires. If you want a soft ride get a camry.

    just saying! john

Ya I wouldnt buy those. I threw some weights in the back of mine to test this theory. If it works I may weld something in under the bed.

Tracker, did you notice any difference, good or bad, with bed bounce after you installed your TRD rear sway bar?

No it didnt change the bounce, it did remove virtually all body roll though. Huge difference!

The trd sway reduced the bed bound for me and helped out the body roll quite a bit. Didn't by any means completely eliminate it, just reduced that amount of bounce and body roll. mines a 2nd gen though and I'm in SoCal Orange County area. Our freeways SUCK lol

    Oh one or two.
I've got a bad section of freeway on my commute that my truck bounces like crazy my 3 year old loves it me not so much. I'm installing some Coach builder shackles and bushing hopefully it lessons it some. If it takes heavy weight in the rear I'll be building a plate bumper for sure. I have the TRD sway bar still in the box I'll be installing that as well during the install.

    UPDATE:

So Toyota called me and basically noted the complaint. They said I needed to contact the dealer to have them evaluate the situation. I am not too hopefull as I know they will say everything on the truck is fine. I guess we will see......

Have you guys checked your rear body mount bushings to see if they might be loose?

I wouldn't put it past Toyota in the tundra department. They did put out a TSB covering all the tundras from 07 to '10 in the previous years for using to stiff of a bushing. They might've screwed the pooch again. whether it be loose or too stiff....

I feel like I will waste my time with Toyota. Thats why I hope all of you with bed bounce symptoms also file complaints so we can get them to take action.

I don't get bed bounce anymore. The CB shackles and poly bushings stopped it.
