Towing “live”

We bought a 27 ft TT a few years ago and had it towed to our 80 acre property to live in while building our retirement home. Then it sat for a couple years because my Tacoma couldn’t pull it. Now with the new Tundra, we are going to start using it, in a couple days.
My question is what runs the fridge when you are towing on the road? If I set it on Auto, will the power from the truck be enough to run it, or should it stay on propane? Somewhere I got the idea that propane was suppose to be shutoff when towing, but maybe not.

 

Mine runs on propane when traveling. I don't use the auto selection just because I want to hear it start up on propane. But theoretically you can set it to auto and when you plug into A/C power it switches itself to 120 V and when you unplug it switches itself to 12V propane.

Also take extra precautions when at refueling stations. May require turning OFF refrigerator so no open flame exits.

 

Now this I hadn’t thought of. But on this first trip I can easily get there without refueling, then unhook for a week and fill up before I come back.
