Grill Badge replacement - 3D printed

See what you think at my first attempt at a direct swap in badge. It will need filler primer and paint and will be an easy swap with the OEM badge.

 

Where did you get the backing plate? Does it plug right into grill

 

The backing plate all printed. I still need to add tabs or threaded posts to secure into the existing holes.

 

Damn looks solid I need to find someone to make me a Capt America or spartan helmet one lol

 

Do you know anyone with a 3d printer? If so, I might be able to help you create the design. I would offer to print it also, but I'm afraid I might end up in the 3D printing business and I already have a livelihood

Is it just me or is the vectoring lines from the 3d print texture kinda cool? I'm tempted to hit it with a rattle can without primer and see what happens. I can always primer over. Plus it only took 6 hours to print if I need to start over. I'm happy to share the file if anyone wants to play with the design in CAD or I can post a link to the finished printable file.

Old post, I know. I just got a 3d printer and I'm looking for the iFORCE badge on the side so I can print one saying 4.6... hey it's still an iFORCE

 

Im looking for this as well - Stl file or something I can mod in solidworks. thanks
