    Hi All,

I just recently submitted my application to become a State Park Peace Officer aka Ranger.

Right now I am a manager of a graphics/printing company. Love the job but want to try something new.

Trying to see if anyone in here is in that field and have any advice for me.

Oh yeah, wish me luck! It’s a long process but it will fly by.

I know a guy that has completed the school in CA. Attention to detail and don't be late. If they tell you to have 2 pens, have 2 pens. He said people would get dropped for only having 1 pen or having 3 pens. GL

Salary is not that great in the beginning but it will eventually get better. I make more now but a state job will be more rewarding in the future.
