I am totally addicted to Tundra Life now!
Hey guys I am struggling with getting the information I need to get my 2012 SR5 2WD 5.7 Double Cab done asap. Its been in my shop since I drove it home from the dealership on Friday and not coming out until its built. Not getting caught dead with steel wheels and stock looking! LoL You know like when you get a smoking hot girlfriend and you pray you run into your ex and prove youve upgraded!!!!! LOL

So my dilema is I am not dropping $1,100 on a 6 inch lift. I bought a RC 3" and have it being delivered Friday. I want to put Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.50r18 or Firestone Destination MT2 in the same size. Chrome 18x9 rims and I need the correct offset formula so I dont rub at all. I dont want to have to cut anything or weld or bend. I want everything clean.
I am also getting the Pro LSD duff and 4:88 gear because I pull boats and I do not want to slide in the water with boat , truck and trailer and be "That Guy" in a meme.
I am also going to look into long tube headers and full exhaust. Ive always had headers in every vehicle and love it. I dont want loud and obnoxious so please fill me in on what to avoid in that area.
Guys any ideas you have or things you did that you know will work as Ive explained above please post! Post pics! Give me ideas! This is my first Tundra and Im super stoked. Spent 2 full days making this thing as perfect as I could and fixing every issue it had.
    Thanks in advance
    Capt. Johnny

Yep already have the Titaniums picked out! I am not sure what anyone else uses from the headers back? I will call them tomorrow.

Welcome from Obx. Your gonna run into some rubbing issues with that 35/12.50, even with the +25 offset and 3" up front. You could drop down to a 295/70/18. Not much smaller diameter wise, it's that 12.50 wide. Hopefully our suspension experts will chime in. Also there is a ton of info over @ Wheel/Tire thread that might spark something. Attention on Deck:D. Good luck Capt:thumbsup:

Funny you say that because I have always been a Chome fanatic...lol All my friends have all blacked out everything and Its just not who I am or will ever be. I love to make things look showroom new and Chrome has always been my go to choice. High Polishing things are a passion of mine as well. So yes tons of Chrome is already on the way and getting installed 1 part at a time.
Got my Bull bar today and chrome Mirror covers. Will post that side mirror pic later.

Holyshit guys I just looked at my average MPG on my bone stock 2012 Tundra 5.7 SR5 2WD and it said 9.8 MPG?????? WTF?? I drove this home from the dealership 2 hrs away and drove it like a Sunday driver on a Friday. Its been inside my shop since amd today I went to the bank 1/2 a mile away and the UPS store 2 miles away and back inside the shop it went. I was flipping through the menu and saw that and almost had a heart attack. I literally even changed the plugs to Factory OEM, cleaned the airbox, changed the diff fluid, changed the engine oil and never moved it till today. How the hell is this even possible? When I left the dealership on Friday I was slap full and made it home at just above half and thats what made me service it!!!!
