Off-road suspension

is it just me or does the trd off-road suspension feel ... squishy? Maybe I’ve been spoiled with my ome on my Tacoma. I definitely like a stiffer ride.

 

Red off-road suspension? And does the 2018 have red shocks on it? The only Toyota suspension that I know of as being red is the TRD pro suspension front springs. Unless instead of red you meant TRD off-road suspension.

I don’t find my TRD suspension to squishy I do notice that it does bottom out by the looks of my bump stops. And but you have to remember your Tacoma was much lighter so it probably cornered much nicer too. I found it was very squishy around corners but a rear sway bar straightened that out real quick. At the same time it’s a trade off and you lose some articulation in the rear with it.

 

My neighbor just got an 18 TRD off road sport. It looks like the red shocks are the same thing as the blue and yellow ones that came on my 17. Same thing just a different color

 

It was suppose to say trd, idk what happen, I’ll blame auto correct for this one and save my fat finger excuse for another day

 

Auto correct and Siri get me every time as well as my sausage fingers . That’s why I figured out what you meant. Because it did it to me as I tried to post to you LOL. I don’t always proofread either.

 

I wonder if they’re going to keep using Bilstein on the TRD and non trd trucks because the pros are supposedly coming with fox suspension now.

 

I’m pretty sure my neighbors are still the bilstein 4600’s , just red

 

My shock ins yellow and coil is black. I bet the red spring is for the sport since that suspension is set up for highway driving
