I'm tired of getting in my truck and seeing all the dust/pollen on my dash. I drive with my windows down alot which concerns me about the dash mat. Are these worth anything? Easy to remove to clean/vacuum? Do these turn my truck into a "grandpa" truck?

Never been of fan of carpet. I hear ya tho. Right now mine is covered in dirt from being up in the mountains and driving with my windows down. I just roll with it and clean as best I can.

I think a mat will be harder to keep clean than the hard dash that can just be wiped off. I see a mat more as a protection against the sun if you are concerned about that - although I think the modern dash materials are a lot more sun resistant than back in the old days.

I had one in my 2008. I liked it. Velcro holds it down so no problem running with the windows down.
Lift it off the Velcro and shake it out, stick it back in. Easy.

Personally, I think dash mats look stupid. Kinda like shag carpet in a house. The 70's called...they want their shitty products back...

Now that I've been an opinionated asshole, me attempt to be helpful. I keep a microfiber cloth in my center console. I give my dash and everything I can reach a wipe down while sitting at a long light, in a drive thru etc. I live in a dusty area and this helps keep the worst of it down

A crocheted tissue box makes it a Gramma car. It's a Grampa car if the dash doesn't need a mat because it's covered in receipts and other paperwork.

Shag carpet, 8 track tapes, and swiveling cup holders! Sometimes I kinda miss the 70's, but then I remember the men's fashion from that era and come to my senses.

Graduated HS in '79 and I was down with the fashion. Jeans, a T-Shirt, and a pair of Vans is what we wore. No different than today.

Sounds like you missed the bell bottoms, leisure suits, wide lapels, and polyester. Not to mention the polyester leisure suits with wide lapels and bell bottoms.

For those that missed the 70's, here's what you missed. https://www.boredpanda.com/1970s-mens-fashion-ads/

Oh, we saw guys wearing some of those styles. They were usually the ones that got their a$$ kicked.

501's and a T-shirt. Unless you had a "real" date, then it was a Pendelton over the T-shirt. If she was extra hot, maybe some kind of polo shirt.

I really wanted to get a red Hawaiian flower print one, but figured it would get annoying and be too bright. So I got gray. I just wanted to try to cut down on the heat coming off the black dash. I’ve always been older than really am D9F6CCD2-85AF-4E69-8E26-2DE7B445F564.jpg
