TRD PRO GRILL QUESTION

Hi everybody,
Just swapped my 16 Tacoma for a 16 Tundra XP, very happy with it. I want to start modding the Tundra and have been searching the forum for an answer an Im a bit confused.
I have a silver Tundra,
it is my understanding I can only purchase the bulge in silver but the PRO grill frame does not come in silver.
So, do I have to buy it in any color and paint it?
Also is there any difference in TRD PRO GRILLS from 16,17,18?
Also want to swap headlights but im still researching on that.
Any help will be aprreciated.

1) @Roman could better tell you what stock colors there are. Also there is a thread of parts that a lot of guys put on their trucks do a search for it and you’ll find it.
2) The pro grille is the Samar
3) Headlights, retro’s 18 headlight upgrade?

 

16 and 17 grille are the same, there is no 18 Pro grille. As far as color matching goes you probably have to buy a Platinum grille and then a TRD Pro insert, they do come up for sale in the Marketplace section of the forum.

Thanks!, I purchased it white, was what my dealer had in-stock. Being painted as we speak.

 

I second what Roman says
You can put a Pro grille on a 2018.

 

I was lucky, White was a standard color. I would recommend the 2018 Toyota LED headlights.

 

I would look into retrofitting your headlights.

 

SCREW THE GRILL AND PUT A SUPERCHARGER IN IT! Opps I'm sorry was i texting out loud @Roman a pro grill is my next i belive i just need the insert for a black platinum correct? But would have to buy one of the others colours correct. What's the price for a poor Finnlander in Minnesota?
