Noticed a little Paint Bubble

Looks like there is a small amount of rust/corrosion under a the paint on the front of roof at edge before the windshield. The spot is maybe size of a dime.

Is this something that can be addressed by paint and body shop by itself or should the whole roof get sprayed? I am sure painting the whole roof is the best idea, just curious if necessary.

I find this odd, rust on roof but none under a drop in bedliner.........

 

It would need to be sanded and treated with something like Naval jelly or something that stops rust. Hopefully it didn’t spread underneath your windshield seal. You could do a spot check but it will never look right unless you get the entire roof painted.

 

At a minimum you should try to stop it. Treat it and put some touch up paint on it. Keep an eye on it.

 

Definately want to address in near future. just curious if Quality spot fix can be done.

 

It’s doable it will always be noticeable afterwards, but it’s on the roof so it may be worth it to just fix the spot, instead of the whole roof.
