    2010 Tundra TRD Rock Warrior Package 5.7 Supercharged
    So I received my 6” system from BAM this week for my 2010 Tundra TRD Supercharge, immediately called the shop to get a lift. I installed the 6” system today at the shop, first off the old system was spot welded from the factory at the flanges, I found that to be a little strange but not a huge deal but the old bolts were destroyed taking them off. The rest of the install was to easy. I left the tail pipe off for now so I can clean it up and blacken it out according to instructions from Keith. The sound right now is AWESOME! I did not put on the resonator yet that came with it since the tailpipe is off for me to clean. What’s the benefit of the resonator since I’ll have to cut a circle into the tailpipe to install it and it already sounds great?

    Glad you like the system, I love mine too. The resonator will help eliminate drone if you have any. Wait until you put the tailpipe back on and drive it for a week and you may decide you don't mind the drone it will have. Make sure and drive it on the highway when testing it, preferably under load. Either towing or driving over a mountain pass or something like that. That will be when the drone will be most prevalent.

    I have the 6 with resonator. I ran it once with no tail pipe, once without resonator and felt too loud, I didn't even get on the highway to test for drone. Came home and put the resonator on and it's just about perfect for me. The cab quits down a ton just my adding the tailpipe obviously. Run it like that and decide later on if you want the resonator.

    I did not install the resonator and the drone doesn’t bother me. It did a little at first since I was use to it being so quiet, but I enjoy it now.

    There was a day that I thought I did too...turns out I was right amd I'm so glad i got a BAMuffler!!!! I got the 6" , wanted the 8" but got a 6 for a great price from a member here so I couldn't turn it down. I'm happy with the 6 but if I bought directly from @dirtydeeds I'd get the 8 because the 6 is a tad loud for me. I also hear he makes custom 7" which must be perfect. I was wondering if he could do a 6 & 8 combo, one 6 and one 8 , seeing that each kit has 2 mufflers. I'd assume this has the potential to sound pretty awesome and would save fab time and money. But I am probably wrong and it's not the right way to go.

    Damn now you've got me thinking too lol.
    I'm also in the process of sound deadening my truck, doing 4 layers or differemt materials. I planned on doing that before the BAMuffler though. Maybe when I'm done it'll sounds just right for me.

    I've never heard a dirtydeeds exhaust sound bad. Just some sounds arent for me. I still think mine sounds the best, but I am a little biased and partial to mine.
