Did you get extras? They are know for hazing quite fast, especially in the salt belt states.

    Still, looks great.

lol. i didnt even think about that. i guess i better buy a couple of backups. maybe a dozen at that price lol. it only takes a frickin month to ship from china. oh well. thanks for the heads up. i am located in socal and in actually in a desert climate. very dry. i wonder is the hazing caused by high humidity? i have a 2004 passat and the headlights have just started to haze after 14 years.

    thanks for the heads up.

Is there a name for these little lights? The link just takes me to the home page. I could use these on my custom rear bumper and license plate lights.

what did you wire them to?
Wouldn't mind setting some of those up in back (yellow) for offroading. Similar to amber "pods".

i used an add a circuit low profile mini fuse tap and connected it to the IGN fuse but keep debating between that or the low beam headlight connection under the hood. its a toss up if you want them on all the time or only when you turn your headlights on.

here is the link to the thread where mike fully explains the diy install:

I don't know about other states but in Nevada, you are good to go unless that bad boy has BLUE lights..

thanks jeremy. yeah i know that blue lights are reserved for emergency vehicles only.

i was more wondering about the brightness of the lights. i know some friends that have gotten tickets for having lights that are too bright or not calibrated correctly so as not to blind oncoming traffic. with a lifted truck, that becomes a bigger issue ... so that leads me to ask the question: those with lifted trucks, do you modify the light beams or does the leveling headlight adjustment in the cabin is sufficient? i plan to do a 3/1 lift in the future.
