2015 Crewmax Stereo Upgrade

Hey guys,
So I'm looking to change all four door speakers in my crewmax to components but everytime I lookup on Crutchfield it keeps telling me that the speakers wont fit. Can anyone tell me what sizes or speakers they upgraded too to get an idea? I want to go with the Rockford Fosgates T2652-S for the front and T252-S for the rear along with the Rockford Fosgate T400X4ad for the amp.

 

Man... All the research I did and almost couldn't remember! I have image dynamics 6x9s in front and their 6.5s in the rear. The 6x9s are 3 inch mounting depth and I'm pretty sure that's the max. The rears are 2 3/4 depth. The rear fit perfectly, but the problem is the front. The cone or front of the speakers need to be low profile, or you have to trim the door panel, which I did.

Or, components like you are looking at. The reason they are saying they won't fit is you will have to buy or build something to mount them in the 6x9 slot. It can be done though... You may have to mod it a bit and I'm not sure what room you have in your door panels above the mounting depth, so be sure and take the panel off to see.

 

Did you upgrade the sub too? How do the door panels look now after the trim?

 

Mine didn't have a sub to begin with, so I had a slim box built and bought a shallow mount sub. The door panels look just like before. I didn't change the look, just the fit inside. With components you shouldn't have to trim, but if you do, use an exacto knife and not a dremmel if you can help it. The plastic gets everywhere.
