What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

I spent a couple of hours polishing my head lights by hand. Fun. (oh, polished a few beers too..)

 

Installed an AFE catback exhaust on mine Friday. I love it when the parts show up 3 days early. Also installed leds on the interior lights.

 

Ordered my Borla dual side exit catback

 

Not today, but last Saturday, I made its left fender become intimately familiar with an immovable gate post. (said post is soon to become movable)

First thing I've done that I consider a mod and it came out awesome! Mixed the ESP Plastic rear storage for crew max with my weathertechs

 

Ouch! That hurts just to look at!

Yeah. I thought it would just buff out, but no that didn't work. I have a new fender on order.

 

What is it with the side pointing anyway? Its to the shooters disadvantage. I've had my CCW for about 11 years now.

 

Thats how they do it in thug movies, and they think its real life.

 

Next to no way to aim, going to result in poor trigger control and almost guarantees a hot casing to the face.

 

the previous owners must have had a bull bar because I was missing tow hooks and had chunks cut out of my skid plate, threw the skid plate away a while ago and bought some tow hooks. $35 bucks on eBay for OEM hooks.

And a dog, because he wouldn't move out of the picture.

Looks funny to see mags name on it and not trd. Good to know they keep the line moving along. First pics I have seen the new charger looks like they didn't change anything just the badge.

Replaced the Bank 2/B air switching valve last night.

 

It's always good to get that first scratch.....

 

And in real life these "brave" thugs/gang bang wusses usually miss their "drive by" target and kill some innocent kid sleeping in his/her bed or actually playing outside ,God forbid. (And think nothing of it). Of course with proper gun control & background checks these bad guy wusses would not have a firearm. SARC

 

So, I'm two weeks delayed in posting this, but here are Greyce's newest additions.....

1.) My Pro Comp Pro Runner SS coilovers took a crap (blew a seal on the driver's side). I was able to get them warranted, and put the $$$ towards a set of Pro Comp Black Series 2.75.
If you are a 2nd Gen, and decide to go w/ the Black Series, you'll need to cut/grind a notch on the lower post mount. The massive lower post has a taper to it, that impedes on mounting. See my last posted pic. Also, as soon as I get time to get offroad, I'll post a review. For now.....they handle great on pavement. They have a slight roll in/out of tight curves on mountain passes (which I like). Great response on in-town whoops (i.e. intersections @ 50mph).

Also, I've had the bag cradles for a while. But the pic shows a great secondary reason why to have them.......No stretch on the bags while on the lift.

Had my transferflo 46 us gallon tank installed today

2 - 20 liter jerry cans plus roughly 5 liters left from the old tank barely made the needle rise off empty 137 liters later it was full[emoji14]

 

IKR? I wonder if these gang-bangers contribute to the appropriate super-pacs? They love them some gun control, because it means citizens can't shoot back.

Alms to the original thread subject: Just got my brand new stock headlights to put in this weekend. Had a retrofit done, and it was nothing but trouble. Going back to stock lights and now on the hunt for the best non-retro bulbs.

 

Spring cleaning started early.

 

Yeah, I'd like to up grade factory head lights to something "Better". Maybe. Way down on my list of things to do with my Tundra. Especially after spending a few hours hand polishing my 07 lenses. Cooler head lights would be nice.
