Thank you. After looking for wheels for months and torn between lifting and not I finally pulled the trigger on 20” mayhem warriors +18 and 275/60 falkens. I’m really happy with the result and the price. Now to linex the bumper caps and swap out the grille and surround.

    Hitting the trails this weekend...

Long story short, I saw an ad for 3 old Yakima FrontLoader bike racks, I was prepared to pay $200. The lady didn't get back to me, then a couple of days later she said the person who replied before me couldn't get the clamps off the roof bars, they were rusted/stripped and I could salvage whatever was left for free. She was right, hand tools wouldn't do it. I took them home, bad design, I used power tools to destroy plastic parts to get at cutting off the stripped bolts/nuts. I then stumbled upon a safety recall while looking to replace those parts I needed. The local Yakima rep had me take a pic of the destroyed racks and sent me 3 brand new ones!

What's more, the old Thule roof rack they were attached to was scratched up but totally useable, I sold it as is for $160 which I funded to buy these special Thule clamps and longer roof bars, also used. This whole 3 bike setup on the DiamondBack you see cost me net $120 CDN (~$93US)

    IMG_6990.jpg IMG_6988.jpg

So if you stumble upon these used, Yakima will give you new ones for FREE!

    A bunch
You will be very satisfied with those next 2 changes. Careful on getting rid of the chrome, one you start you can't stop, I'm now fighting with the idea to paint my exhaust tips and then only the chrome inserts on my rims will be left. Awesome choice on the rims and tires BTW

Thanks for the heads up. I don’t plan on going too crazy and the subtle machined parts on the wheels will tie in what little chrome I leave like the badges. I have an extra set of bumper caps that will get line-x as a trial to see if I like the texture or if powder coat is the way to go and I picked this up a couple of months ago to replace the grill and surround. 8380173B-F960-42C9-A56A-CE8E922F1F03.jpg

Title work finally came through so I could license my new truck. Was able to remove the in transits and roll down the back window. The duel exhaust sounds a little better with all 5 windows down:transformer:

Installed tufskinz console insets and OCD console dividers and storage tray.

Now find the right stereo equipment.:spending:

Yes, I went with all white bulbs.

Oh... I did one more mod. Was initially gonna run power from the dash to the center console so I could have a light to illuminate that giant black hole, but figured I'd give a battery powered unit a try first. Seems to be working great.
