:rofl::rofl: That's the "preferred" way to do it. When we moved into this house the back door was a blanket, the kitchen consisted of a camp stove, fridge, fold up card table counter and a large bowl for a sink. We had no shower, no heater no texture/ finish on the drywall, no interior doors.... You get the idea..... We had a Roof.
Almost 4 yrs. later and I'm still not finished.:anonymous:

Pelfrey's Tundra was there, in all its glory, for a couple hours on I think Friday? or Saturday. I dunno... all the days are mushed together now.

@831Tun I'm kinda mad at you right now. Your wiring situation made me self-conscious about my half assed/temp one and now I'm spending money. Damn you sir. Nice truck though. NFAB MAFIA!

No. I was really close to ordering TC with heims today, if they'd been in stock I'd have done it. We'll see what my patience level is tomorrow :spending:. And, the specialty tool for replacing the inner tie rod didn't show up either :frusty:. Looks like it hasn't even shipped and the tie rod showed up the next day. WTH?

I can try to video it for ya. I took a class at Utube U. It looks straight forward and pretty easy. It would be nice to do the UCAs at the same time. Suzanne just used my lap top and there was a site with TC heim joint UCAs on the screen. She said, "that's an expensive part." Translated into guy speak = buy that and you're sleeping with the dogs and that won't be the only punishment.

Inner tie rod. It's got a little play that makes the tire toe in and toe out when driving.

I might have a chat with her tomorrow. She's usually really cool about my toys as long as I talk with her first.

Oh, so you want those truck thingies, and I still don't have cabinet doors. Why don't you make my cabinet doors and then buy your truck thingies?upload_2018-5-17_21-20-56.jpg

Completed a little project today. The shovel is obvious. The 4" tube houses the compressor hose and air inflator/gauge. It's important to drill a small hole in the pipe if you want to be able to open it. The "straps" are off the shelf at the plumbing store and called risers. Drill a couple extra holes and a cut the outer half shorter cutting and they work perfectly.

Have you been happy with the soft topper? I am considering sewing up something similar around my BAMF bedrack. I love the option of using it for a trip and storing for other times. Looks so mean, love your truck!

Wrong, Mark! Ask any military guy or gal that's jumped from a plane how much they appreciate their stitch bitches. Those fellas hold on to those skills when they leave service and can sew up just about anything.

My uncle’s stitch bitch failed him! He hit the deck twice, but he doesn’t drive a Tundra....and to make it worse, he sells them. So, I guess that doesn’t improve my point at all

Thanks Jacob. Yeah, I'm really happy with the soft topper. I really don't like having the topper or a shell back there and most of the time it's in storage. But, for camping trips it's fantastic. We have 2 dogs and they ride back there w/o having to be tethered. It keeps all the camping gear secure and dry and is really nice as a tent for me to sleep in the bed. We just got an overland trailer with an RTT which my wife and 2 daughters sleep in...... I'm relegated to the truck bed.:( But if they're all happy and comfy, trips go much better.;)
