Hey guys im installing a new sound system for my tundra. I am going with a high-end setup, with all the equipment worth around 7K. I will be putting Rockford T5652-s in each door. I will be taking out the dash tweeters, because I will put tweeters in the front door sails. Then I got a JL C7 350 for the center dash. Rockford 3.Sixty.3 as a DSP. Rockford t600-4 amp to power all the doors. Rockford T500-1bdCP for my subwoofer. The subwoofer i got is one made by Rockford of course, its the T1S-1X10P. With this setup, I also got Dynamat Xtreme for all the doors, the floor, the back wall, and the headliner. I got some Dynaliner as well, for some extra coverage. I also decided to get a new head unit, I got the new Kenwood DNX 995S. I will also be running new speaker wire to make sure the system is sounding it's best. Lastly, I could be forgetting some things, but I also got a Compustar ProT11 remote starter and security.

you're going to love the T5652-S. i have the baby brother, T2652-S in all four doors. they sound amazing. you may want to reconsider the 3Sixty3. i briefly considered it but heard nothing but horror stories. went with the JL TwK 88 instead and i'm super happy with it. for a sub, i'm running RF T1S12.

good luck. it's going to sound awesome.

Yeah i'll keep you guys posted, and I'll post photos soon too!! And okay i got the rockford 3.sixty.3 for 500 which was a steal. But like as you can tell I wanted to keep my setup MOSTLY Rockford that's why I choose it, plus it should be awsome. Once installed, i'm gonna bring the truck to a shop to have it tuned. So I won't be messing with it.

Looks like he is using it with a aftermarket head unit. I ditched it because I got rid of my factory head unit and did not really need it anymore though it would have been nice to have. The system was great but I wanted to use the money on my kenwood.

Oh gotcha! Yeah I understand I got the dsp becuase I felt that it was needed to get the best sound possible out of my system. I'm sure just the upgraded headunit would work great, but I still wanted the 3.Sixty.3

So far I have installed the dynamat on the roof, the back wall, and just started on the floor. I would've taken photos of the roof while doing it, but wasn't planning to post on a fourm until now. But ill make sure to take photos of everything now on.

Yes the 360 will give you more bands of eq to work with so if you know how to set it up correctly you can get better sound out of it. $600 worth of better will be up to you to judge.

Here is a photo of the back wall! I would’ve showed under the mat but I already put everything back:(! There is dynamat Xtreme all under there, then dynaliner on top and then I put back the cover 82E73782-D774-49B6-ABFA-D6DB8FD05558.jpg

yea, especially in the doors. make sure you do both the inner and outer skins.

those speaker sets are pretty damn sexy. based on what mine sound like, those are going to be pretty epic. also, i'm going to assume that the tweeters are the same diameter as the ones i have. if so, they will fit into the factory locations in the rear door with a little trimming. i was able to keep the factory look. you can do the same with the sail panels up front.

Thanks for the info!! I’m guessing they are the same size too! I have the non jbl Tundra so I’ll need to drill a hole for the tweeter sails on the front ! I didn’t want to put the tweeters in the dash corner because I heard the sound in better in the sails ?

mine was a non-jbl too. you can drill out a hole or buy the sails. probably easier to buy them. here are the part numbers.

    67491-0C060
    67492-0C060

leave the crossovers as off-axis and set them at -2db. sounds perfect. i popped the grills on the dash and pulled all 3 speakers out.

Thank you! Okay I’ll remember that!! And ya I know you can buy them, I’m gonna try to drill them first because if I buy them I’ll have nothing to do with the old sails! But if drilling fails I’ll buy the new ones!
