BUY AN ANTI SWAY DISTRIBUTION HITCH!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Driving on the front range here in Colorado I can't tell you the number of times I have seen some dip shit who just bought a travel trailer and has no towing experience flying down I-25 with their Travel Trailer flapping back and forth like a 50 cent hooker. AND I'm talking without wind. The first thing I bought when I got my trailer was a Blue Ox Sway Pro hitch and it is a life saver!!! I hope I'm just preaching to the choir here, but if you stumble on this POST and you don't know what a distribution hitch is or are "debating" whether or not to buy one because of the expense.......buy one! It is cheaper to buy it up front than to pay for the damages from an accident due to a misbehaved trailer........or worse, the loss of someones life on the road!
------I'm posting this because I was someone who didn't know better and I stumbled on a post here on Tundras.com before I bought my Travel Trailer that opened my eyes and educated me! Heading into travel trailer season be SAFE and TUNDRA on !!! EDUCATE yourself! check out the video below!!

Good advice!

Blue Ox here with dual sways, also TRD sways, P3 Tekonsha, I don’t overload or put anything really in the rear of the TT outside or in, keep payload within, TV/TT level, all 10 tires check, I don’t speed and I tamdemly pass slow transport trucks (not whip by them).

I use to tow a lot when I worked construction. My dad beat this into me pretty hard during that time. Never once had an issue because we kept the weight forward and used WDHs.

 

This is Terrifying!! I've seen some guys get close to doing this in traffic!
