The Staircase. Not really technical in that you point down hill and slide down it, tires screeching. Doesn't look like much in the photo but it's steep enough that you slide.IMG_20180427_133243637.jpg IMG_20180427_133307389.jpg

No, you're right, it's not too tough at all. It's kinda cool 'cause your brakes are locked up and you just slide / screech down. If you'd been there it wouldn't have bothered you in the least, I'm sure. A good driver can do this entire trail in 2wd, I didn't. But I found no reason to 4x downhill and only a couple of times up hill.

It was great to meet you and a pleasure to chat with you and your better half. I forgot to thank you for posting the "one and done" thing about U-bolts. I didn't know that and will be replacing mine since I did it twice. The did have the new bolts were in the truck just in case.
Pink Hummer sounds like something on the menu at the Mustang Ranch. :anonymous:

Stinks we didn’t get to wheel together. We went to cinders at the scheduled time, but only the guys in charge, and a few others showed up. From there it was supposed to be pre scheduled runs, but that got scrubbed. We waited, and finally paired up, and headed off in small groups of our own.

I had @boardude's # and he said he'd text me with the plan, which he did. I got impatient and was on my way to Broken Arrow when I got his text. I guess I'll just have to come back next year and do it right. It'll be much easier having met a bunch of the guys.

Yeah, our timeline and plan quickly changed. Trying to coordinate and stay on schedule with 8 others proved difficult lol. We were only able to stay at the cinders for about an hour. I would have loved to stay there much longer and played around. Then Broken Arrow took twice as long mostly because of all those breast cancer awareness jeeps.

Warren, did you have a chance to check out the Pelfreybilt Tundra at T2S? I'm wondering what your in person impressions were of their bumpers.

My impression is their bumpers are BA. I thought Pelfrey was there with a Taco? @boardude pointed Pelfrey out to me but I didn't get a chance to talk with 'em. I didn't really check out Pelfrey's Tundra bumpers :( but I've seen 'em on 4Rs and Tacos

Mike from Pelfrey was there with his BA Taco. He's local to the area and camped and wheeled with us. Not sure if their Tundra was there , we weren't at camp much...
