With all the talk of drop-in Bed liner, Bed rusting issues and the post from the Flatbed build with pics of severe rust - I reluctantly decided to pull ours and inspect for possible removal and maybe get a spray in. 2007 with 130K miles. To my pleasant surprise found Zero rust anywhere on the bed. There was plenty of leaves, acorns, and dust. The paint has plenty of "rubbed" areas but ZEO rust. WOO HOO!!!:bananadance:

Kind of wondering what make some rust and others not? Probably over all Climate, maybe areas with lots of snow are more prone?

I took mine out a couple years ago when I bought my BedRug. ZE(R)O rust. ha ha... Only some minor scuffed paint in a couple spots. Definitely not snow (Denver) . I'm thinking areas with high year round humidity, road salt, marine air??? But then again you live in that climate sort of. Not sure now...
