Hi, @Alloutdrs1  A lotta guys that might chime in to answer your question don't check in here except when they post sometjing they just finished. I suggest you put that question in a maintenance thread-- add it to a thread with a similar question if you can find one in a search (but don't find the answer during that search), or start a new thread. I know you've been on here a good while, so I don't mean to test your patience with this recommendation. I've just notice that, with this thread and Tundras.Live, there are so many posts that most members don't read them all... so the people with the Answers don't always see the Questions. Good luck!

Did you mean your diff fluid? You should not be changing trans fluid. Follow the owners manual.

Thanks! Those look great! How much did it cost, and how did you do it (leave the truck at the shop or have spare wheels to swap out)?

No diffs I will do myself, was thinking about having the dealer do the trans fluid since I'm still under warranty and its that sealed trans bs.

Don't know why I wouldn't be changing it, I tow a trailer 6 out of 7days in town and long hauls. Changing it early should prolong the life of the trans and from what I read the Toyota WS fluid isn't that great.

I will have a pic Friday. The install wasn't bad at all. I had a set on a 08 Tacoma, it makes a world of difference.

It was $600. here in Las Vegas. I dropped the truck off on Friday morning when I was going out of town and picked it Monday morning. They removed the wheels dismounted them, coated, then remounted, balanced and installed back on the truck. It was about $75 more expensive then another shop near the house but the convince of just dropping the truck and picking it up when it was done is worth it to me. The other shop only powder coats so you have to just bring them the rims, you have to have a tire shop do the rest so it adds to the cost.

Sounds like it’s better to buy Pro wheels and spend a little more with less hassle.

Maybe an hour. From my understanding the full deal for durability is wash, clay, compound, polish, rinse/wipe, glaze, sealant, wax (I didn't do all that and I imagine that cheap kit I used isn't as durable)

If your axle is ever under water, the axle being warm and the water cold, there's a chance that water could get into the axle. Relocating the breather up by the bed rail means your truck is swimming before the axle can ingest water. At least that's what I read somewhere.

Thanks, was thinking about using a machine clay pad instead of doing by hand, but an hour doesn't sound too bad.
