TRIP IS FULL! Sequoia in July!

    ...

    We piss excellence.

I will do solid route planning a week out. Fri will be rattlesnake canyon area, Sat will be Gold mtn, lunch at John Bull gatekeeper to watch the carnage, and White mtn in the afternoon.

We help each other with breaks and stucks and we never leave anybody behind. Gear requirements for this trip:

    · Big Boy Britches.
    · 4wd truck in excellent condition with all terrain or mud tires.
    · Full size spare and tools to change it.
    · Solid recover points front and rear.
    · Complete backcountry camping setup. There are no services at camp other than a pit toilet.
    · Bring as much firewood as you can.
    · Extra tissue in case you cry when your truck gets scratches or dings.

    Confirmed

    · @osidepunker Alex (2nd gen 4wd Tundra), arriving Thu 2pm, departing Sun late morning
    · @01erionracing Jim (1st gen 4wd Tundra), arriving Thu 6-7pm, departing Sun
    · @Ryan J. Boutin Ryan (4wd Taco), arriving early Thu
    · Jason (4wd Tacoma), arriving Thu 6-7pm
    · Aaron aka Hoagie (4wd FJ), arriving Thu 6-7pm
    · @Spolar Zac (3rd gen 4wd Tundra), arriving Thu 2pm, departing Sat

    Meal Planning

Thu Dinner: Alex, brats and chili
    Fri Breakfast: Hoagie
    Fri Dinner: Zac
    Sat Breakfast: Jim
Sat Dinner: Ryan, bbq chicken in aluminum foil, brussels sprouts, and potatoes
    Sun Breakfast: Jason

Disclaimer: This isn't a for-profit or organized event. We are just a group of homies who enjoy wheeling and camping and we are always looking to meet new friends. Campsite reservations were $340; split evenly between 6 trucks is $56 and I am paying my own portion.

I guess I'll go... I know how hard it's gonna be to fill in 3 spots when you say there's gonna be real wheeling and paint scratching going on.

Haha wtf? What's the difference between pp and all the others? At least pp gets refunds accomplished for shady transactions. Like when you buy a chihuahua from a meth head in Stockton and the fckr has an underbite and foams at the mouth. Or you can mail me a money order like hoagie

Yeah. Sounds just as easy as pp. Everyone who said they were going to pay me had it sent in 30 sec and I transferred to my bank in another 30 sec no fees. There's lot of money transfer out there nowadays, but pp actually provides protection for you when you purchase. For example, if you show up to camp and I laugh at your new bumper and tell you that you don't know how to drive, you can request a refund and pp will fight me and get your money back for you

..asking because I think I'm going to try it sometime this week for a day/morning run. I've done it in my FJ years ago so I'm pretty familiar. The gatekeeper is really the only hard section of the whole trail and it's not even a tight section (ie. just his giant boulders).

I did an evening run that turned into a night run 2/3rds of the way through on Sidewinder in Corral Canyon last week to test my new rear locker and got through fine so now I'm ready to test the locker plus my new rear bumper on some more rocks. The only spot I really had a little trouble with on Sidewinder was the squeeze because it was pitch black by the time we got to that obstacle and my passenger doors were half an inch from the rock face due to the off-camber nature of the obstacle and being a fat truck; see #8 here:
    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/2214-sidewinder-corral-canyon-ohv-area

    John Bull for reference:
