Greetings ya’ll. I am a proud owner (again) of a 2018 MGM TRD Sport. Two years ago, I had a ‘14 1794 Edition, but traded it in for an X5 when my wife and I found out she was expecting. I’m SO thankful she didn’t want a mom van! Not a fan of dark colors especially in Arizona, but the MGM is growing on me everyday. The reason I didn’t go white again was I couldn’t pass up the deal I got. Enough about me...FA87BCCD-343E-4698-9AD5-70DB7A3EF6DF.jpg

Relax homie, he got MGM because it was cheaper. White was too high of price because of higher demand. His original choice we WHITE!

How did the X5 treat you, especially in the reliability department?

Thank you, been an RN for just over 3.5 years.

The wife and I love the X5...it’s a 2011 50i Twin Turbo :burnrubber:And the color matches my MGM Tundra! So far so good as far as reliability. I haven’t had any major, or minor for that matter, repairs. Just regular maintenance.

I haven’t done anything to it other than Husky mats for the front that I scored for $50 brand new on OfferUp. Included from the dealer was an OEM bedcover, spray in bed liner, and Amp bed step.

My mods list is growing every day though :spending:I’m cash flowing school, so it’ll be a slow build. But once school is over in about a year and a half, let the brokenness commence!

Tundra experts, I need ya’ll’s thoughts on this. There’s a used Toytec Boss suspension for sale near me. Dude is only looking to get $150, he said he used it for about a year and is upgrading his suspension. I’m all about doing it right the first time, with quality parts. I ultimately want the Radflo/Toytec Complete Performance 3” lift kit, but that’s later down the road when I’m done cash flowing school. But when I saw this, I was wondering if it would be safe to use this to level out my truck temporarily. There will be no off-roading; maybe just a light trail to get to a shooting spot every once in awhile. E84432A4-3AE5-44A0-9B51-F3548A77AF05.jpg

Pretty good deal overall, IF you purchase them, clean them very good before install so that way you can inspect accordingly if a leak starts up...

Thanks for the advice, plan on picking them up this Saturday then. Seller states I’ll have to buy all new hardware...can you help me out and let me know what I need to buy for install? And installation directions would be much appreciated!

Also, look into a diff drop and be sure you have all four (4) bolts for the top hat. Also, what are the coils set to now? You may want to get a spanner wrench.
