Anyone choose lift/tires based on still wanting to get into parking garages?

I’m trying to decide on the best tire/lift package but currently Park in an employee garage. I have no other choice. It says 7’ max height. Did anyone pick a setup according to necessity to work?

I’ve seen a few 7’ parking limits l like at the mall etc. Any feedback I don’t want to not be able to go places thanks!

35's with 3/2 lift will fit in a 6'8" garage.

It's the reason why I went with 5100s and shims. I need to keep it under 7 in order to get into parking garages in the city.

There are Parking Garages here in Denver Metro/Aurora. I may actually fit.....but...I prefer the mountains where I don't have to worry about parking..

BUT you'll hafta be crazy slow and careful over any speed bumps in the garage. It seems like, now that I pay attention to these things, the speed bumps are offset from the poured concrete ceiling supports (often, with signs hanging even lower) but it bears watching to make sure you don't press up over a speed bump and smack one of these low points. I studied this recently in a large parking garage I used for 3 weeks-- the first time it occurred to me that a lift might have precluded my parking in a garage.

yeah... the parking garage that I use in downtown Austin is 6'7" so I had to plan my lift and tires accordingly. I went with 5100's at 1.57" and 33" tires. This leaves me with about 2" of clearance. That may sound like a lot, but when you are driving in the garage, that ceiling feels sooo low.... especially with all the pipes and signs hanging from the ceiling. However, I think I will go up to a 34" tire the next time I need tires.

Yup. Or sometimes ceilings and walls arent plumb so some sections will get super close to my roof line. Another good test - if you still have your stock antenna is if it starts to bend your antenna BACK UP. if your antenna is barely scraping, you're getting close.

hah.. yeah... in the garage that I use, the top 2-3" of the antenna slapped each and every pipe and sign in the garage. I had to switch to a shorty antenna so that I could go faster than 2 mph though the garage :)
