Was messing with my sound options and noticed if I move my sound to the back, my right rear door speaker isn’t working. My left one wasn’t either and I shut my door and it came on. Any thoughts? I bought the truck used and never noticed till I started messing with the sound options.

A little of this and a little of that.
Time for some new speakers? Lol.

Maybe there’s a loose wire connection at the speaker, try and remove door panel to test theory. That’s what I’d do.....

Truck has 38,000 on it, I purchased an extended warranty. Will have to look into it.

A50FCBE5-08C6-4C00-ADFD-3FD7C0AD96F3.jpg Found out why my rear drivers side door speaker wasn’t working. There was no tweeter in the door. With those wires connected that allowed the speaker to work.

On the passenger side rear door speaker there is a tweeter hooked up but nothing coming from the speaker. I bought the truck a year old. Any help would be appreciated!

    Do these aftermarket wires?

The feed from the truck goes to the tweeter location, then down to the woofer. The tweeter had a passive tiny x-over piggy backing it. By the look of that hacked up driver door and missing tweeter, I'd say a system was removed and what you have was just "tossed" in to sell the vehicle. Or possibly the door was replaced, and they just didn't give a shit.

Did you buy the truck used or was it wrecked? That is shoddy wiring right there!
