The trip from hell. Not enough technical stuff and way too much bush. And not the good bush. Bad bad bush. Glad to knock this trail off the list but we won’t be going back.

I tried hanging out in back so they'd clear a path. Lemme tell ya, these guys suck at trail blazing... I think they might've made it worse.;)
The last photo of the trail was taken at one of the wide spots.

Not sure what these guys are all talking about. I just hosed down my truck and there’s not a scratch on it. :notsure:

Lol. Nah, that was my good side. I only want to buff one side at a time when I eventually do it, so I always lean the passenger side into the brush. You know I’m lazy like that. Here’s the bad side. Which still isn’t too bad. Actually looked even worse two weeks ago before the wax job.

I totally favored my drivers side also. Subconsciously at first but then figured it made sense to minimize damage on one side.

I’ve done trails that clearly no full size truck has done in years. I don’t mind trashing my paint but the constant “nails on the chalkboard” noise does get old real quick...

I've got 2 of the gas can holders brand new in box. After I had them sitting around for a few months I decided to get a slightly different version. Let me know if you are interested and we can work something out.

Thanks, keeping this saved for a future project. I like taking long trips, especially where gas stations are rare, looking for something to add a little comfort factor.

    Gas can related.

We strapped ours in between the wheel well and front of the bed. An otherwise empty space for us.

Truck is making all kinds of noises. Was sounding like a damn trampoline. Greased the UCAs today and got rid of the major squeaking. But still need to track down a clunking sound.

If you find that clunking sound lmk where it is

I thought it was my spacer lift so I pulled that right off and put on coilovers. Still made the sound. Drove my dads stock truck and it makes the same clunk. Not sure if it is a mileage thing:notsure:

    I gave up.

check the cams on the LCAs. Mine do it all the time after an install, time on the road/trail, then they start to clunk if I don't retorque them a couple times. I hit them with 210 lb/ft and they shut up. Then I go hit them hard again on some warehouse ramps by the house and tighten them again. Then they actually stay quiet.

And there is probably around a 90% chance cams are not torqued to 207 ft. lbs when you get an alignment at almost anywhere. Although less apparent, don’t get me started on tie rod ends.

I don’t think they’ve been tight one time after an alignment.
And tie rod ends. Fuck. Basically I go through the whole front end from rack to dif to control arms and shocks every time anyone but me touches it. And then again before any off road shenanigans.

    Poker Flat Trail

Ran this trail again. Just a great little trail with a little bit of everything. Especially that view from the lookout tower. Just wish it had a little more technical stuff but still one of my favorite trails. The new guys freaked out a little on the start of the climb out as it was rough, tight and a little wet. ;) But they all handled it like champs.

No one ever gets pics of the truck in front :( so I snapped a couple while waiting for D to change out his flat tire. Also tested out the A-Trac again. That godawful sound it makes.

I purposely ran up the hill to get pictures of the lead truck, so that you wouldn't feel bad.
