Thanks. I think it came out good. Just got a sticker, slapped it in and cut out the middle. Slow and steady wins the race.

What about all of the chrome trim that's now black? Paint or wrap? If paint, what did you use and how did you prep it?

BTW - Just ordered one of those Black TRD knobs from e-bay the other day with a 15% off coupon. Cost me ~$77 shipped.

So the steering wheel and shifter surround is wrap and the cup holder is a combo of plati dip and matte black paint. Nothing crazy for prep, made sure it was 100% clean with some rubbing alcohol and got to painting.

I wrapped the panels about 3 months ago and painted about 2 months. Everything is holding up well given the short amount of time.

Yeah I'm gonna need to get that... How tall are these compared to the stock shifter? I like to rest my hand on it sometimes... I got the black OEM one one ebay but these look too cool.

I thought the same, can't justify it at the moment on my end, but maybe in a few months. That all black is sweet!

I think most people will tell you, including myself, the leather TRD shifter feels much better to hold and rest on than that big hunk of plastic.
