Not at all. Why is that? 2018 Tundras are a little different with the new sensors on them. So I’m not 100% certain of a lift will affect the sensors on a 2018

I spoke with a company that makes custom molded carbon fiber dash overlays. I think they look sharp! Plus they have the carbon to cover the blinding chrome around the shifter. But it’s one large kit and they don’t sell them individually. Only draw back is they don’t have any product to ship currently. B51561A7-3A27-48B0-84A6-17786B2863EE.jpg

I don’t mind. But the company stopped production. I spoke with them and their not sure if they will keep making them or not. It $399 for the full set.

You want to see something that I think is the most bad ass interior mod for a tundra?! A full carbon fiber steering wheel! It’s made over sees and it’s crazy expensive. ACFE5569-3C06-47ED-B3CB-C8E88711C7FF.jpg

I added $900 worth if insulation to my Tundra. I’m not sure it qualifies for a mod or not. Haha I use my tundra for work all the time. It’s not a show princess. The owners dog decided to mark my rear tire this morning! So he is now looking for a new home. Just kidding. A4B735D0-5ABF-4C06-8C55-C9D81C78A66B.jpg

I ordered the new CNC black icon UCA caps for my build. I like the look of them over the previous round and silver caps. I also have new rubber seals to replace my existing ones. I’ll check my heim ball joins at the same time. 4CF4A376-D5D0-4F8E-AEA0-3C5E5E108D31.jpg

I finally got around to wrapping my interior chrome with parts with vinyl carbon. I like the end results a lot!

Photo before I cut out the center portion. You will need a heat gun to heat the material and stretch it around the

Thanks! I don’t think I’ll wrap the shifter. Since you need to tuck the vinyl and the ends of exposed vinyl would wear off from handling it.

Today I replaced my Icon UCA dust caps and checked my uniballs. I was amazed at how much dust and debri was under the original dust caps! Glad I serviced them today. Icon does not recommend using any grease or lube on the uniballs otherwise it will wear them out faster from attracting dust to the uniballs. Here are the photos of before during and after the replacement. 4C006218-96B7-41DC-B01C-286FF034A9A7.jpg

My two 10” rigid Radiance light got moisture in them from my pressure washer. So I took the lenses off and cleaned them out. Here’s some photos showing the inside seals and lenses.
    40CDA280-9C41-4B7B-8ACE-AB210CE6DC15.jpg
Lights after removing the front aluminum trim. You will need to remove the plexiglass to get the moisture out. The rubber ring around the lights can be removed to clean any dirt off.
    A4EF0013-F5D1-486C-8CBD-0EE1ABDB5883.jpg
Once you remove the plexiglass the reflectors will fall off. So putting them back in place of your lights are mounted is a little tricky. 316231F9-EA1D-40C9-88EE-71691FEF6A1F.jpg

Check out sound deadening showdown. Some great info there about how to quiet the cabin diwn. I've been slowly plugging away at mine. Adding mass loaded vinyl is the key to quiet. You will need some closed cell foam to use during MLV install. That dynamat will help with rattling and vibrations while making the doors feel and sound more solid but will do little to take road and wind noise.

Thanks bud. I did read that post about sound deadening before. I’ve had four different vehicles with full dynamat extreme and other sound deadening materials. IMO it does make the cabin a lot quieter. I did also purchase the dynaliner & tape as well. I’ll post some feedback after install is all done.
