Finally pulled the trigger and pic up my tundra today. My only concern at the moment is when braking I get a fairly good steering wheel shake is this normal for these trucks? It came from Massachusetts (I bought it in New York) so it had 271 miles on it.

Welcome from PA...sounds like a tire out of balance, or a warped rotor...have dealer check it out. You got the color that makes the panties hit the floor! lol

Ahh I didn’t think an out of balanced tire. Ya I’m debating on bring it to my mechanic first just so I don’t get the run around at Toyota but wanted to see what the tundra group consensus was first. Ya I was between the cement, sand, and inferno.

There’s a little rust on the edges but should rust just wear off I know after it rained and my truck sat for a weekend there would be a little surface rust but that shit wore off quick

Here are the front and rear rotors not really sure how they should look, to me they look kind of gouged?

Ya I had my girlfriend drive my truck today and even she said those fuckers feel warped, I was watching her whole skinny ass arms shake from the wheel when she used the brakes. I have an appointment at 7am Friday let’s see what excuse they come up with.

So I’m at Toyota now and they said it was from sitting on the lot the rotors rusted and that they’ll replace them. Hopefully when I get in it I can enjoy driving it finally lol been 90 mins so far

I'm having the same issue from my 17 with 27000. I'm headed to the dealership next week to see what they come up with. I'm kinda disappointed they haven't lasted longer... this will be the second trip for warranty work, first was a dead battery that left me stranded. :(
