I installed my unit yesterday. The one thing I can’t figure out is how to enable the a/c knob and button lights. Anyone know how to get it working?

 

For the advanced password 7890 did not work. Need to access the HVAC settings. Any other ideas what the code is? I tried 0000 1234

 

There are two passwords that I used. 7890 and 8861. Let me know if it works!

I received a replacement unit, came with small scratches on the finish. Unit works great. I'm having issues with listening to the radio. When I start the car the signal becomes lost. Anyone have a solution for listening to AM/FM radio?

 

I get the same problem every now and then. I just listen to pandora now -_-

 

By reading all the pro's / con's I think I will will go old school and install an "8 track" and play my "Sony Walk-man" through a single wired speaker......

 

Do any of you know why they want us to send a picture of our existing unit?

 

If that picture is for ordering a unit it is not needed, i didn't have to send one in when i ordered. Maybe tell them if its a limited, platinum or 1794.

 

I'm up for another group buy if anyone else is interested?

I just installed the Tesla Android Head unit and was wondering if you could relay what size/measurement of blue acrylic disc was used for the HVAC knobs and where you purchased it from.

Just to let everyone know that has a Phoenix Tesla head unit, that they now make a 360 view cam system for a $180 . When i get home im going to place an order for one.

 

I'm wondering if I have settings wrong for sound. There is a slight crackling/static going on and when turning up the volume everything becomes distorted. Any ideas?

Interesting.... they removed the physical HVAC knobs and removed several of the physical buttons on the bezel. I think the bezel has a cleaner look this way.

 

I saw that a week or two ago on there face book page, i would miss the nav button that i programmed now use and for Google search.

after having the unit for awhile even with the HVAC issues I like the buttons and knobs. I think it is too distracting while driving to do visual adjustments

 

Would be nice with more programmable buttons.

Does anyone know how to revert to Android 6.0? it was a request by one of the engineers to see if it would fix video out to my headrest monitors from netflix/prime video apps on the unit.

 

What kind of headrest monitors do you have?
