    Here is my dilemma:

    2016 TRD Off-Road

I have a set of XD795 wheels that are 20x9 with 30mm offset that puts the backspacing just over 6 inches. I want to put 35x12.50s on. I will be installing a LRO 3/1 kit. I also have a set of Icon TUbular UCAs to install as well. I am worried that I will have to put spacers on the wheels to clear the UCA but then I will be near 0 offset and 35s won't work.

Any suggestions? Will those wheels and UCAs play nice or am I going to have to use spacers and go smaller with the tires? I guess I could keep the stock arms and sell the UCAs as I got them at a killer price used, but I want to make sure I can get it aligned with out issue.

    You should be fine. I run 35x12.50s with a 18x9 +25 which is 5.98" BS (a +30 offset is 6.18" BS).
I run TC uppers but I have over 1" between the tire and the UCA.

You will have to trim the skid plate and remove the lower front plastics behind the fog lights though to keep from rubbing. Likely you'll have to remove the front mud flaps and do a CMC as well if you are taking the truck anywhere but on-road.

Thanks Jason. I will be posting pics of the process and I am sure I will be asking some questions as far as the instal. I figured a body mount chop wwoud be necessary. I am not a welder, but can easily chop off the extra metal and then wait until I have time to find a shop in far north Texas to weld in the plate.

When I go to replace the uca and spacers, do you think I will need to loosen the lower cams or just pry down the lower arm with the spinal detached up top?
Any tricks to removing the upper arm hinge bolt?

If you are doing it all at once, remove the stock UCA, stuff in the coilover, then install the new UCA. No need to loosen the LCA cam bolts.
When you install the coilover, just insert the lower shock mount into the LCA, push down on the LCA with your foot and you can pop the upper mount into the coil bucket pretty easy. I did it by myself as a solo job.

UCA through bolt is pretty easy but you gotta wiggle it around forward to get it out. I always disconnect my battery when doing stuff like this just because the ABS wires are around there and it's better safe than sorry.

We had to loosen my cam bolts when my suspension went on, couldn’t push the LCA down enough to pull the stock coilover out without it. We just marked em and retightened when the new coilovers were in. But I’m under the impression that’s not a normal occurrence when putting on a lift though.

Well had everything installed by a local shop. 3/1 leveling kit with icon control arms for $400 out the door. The wheels are 30mm offset and only rub was the skid plate after removing mud flaps and trimming the wheel well liner. 35x12.50 atz p3 by Mickey Thompson.
