New to this forum but not to Tundra

    Hello:

    I bought first Tundra new in 2010 having driven only Fords before that. Wow what a difference. In 2010 I had to take the only Tundra on the lot which was a white one. I hated white. I needed something to pull my enclosed 20 foot car hauler trailer. Not a heavy trailer since it only has an antique (really old 1911) car in it. I now have about 7 really old cars but just the one trailer and it works fine. I ordered a new 2018 Tundra that is exactly like my 2010 and I even decided I like white so ordered the new one as Super White. Extended cab SR-5 package and it should be here in a week or two now. I took over on a Tundra that was already on order so I will have to add my own running board steps and wondered where I could buy them OEM since local dealer price is for gold plated ones or at least the price is. The problem is they are long enough to cause UPS and FEDEX to really jack up the price so not sure where to go. I am in Northern IL so any help on who might sell me OEM parts for this thing other than the local dealer would be a help. I don't really need the step bars buy my wife insists on them and I most certainly am NOT going to trade her in on a new model although she might want to trade me in for one.

    Hope to get some good advice from you folks on things about this new truck but I sure hope it is as reliable as the last one was. It isn't wore out but I wanted a few of the newer features and the miles were beyond 100K on the 2010 so I decided at my age to play it safe.
