1UPPER’s 17 CM SC Platinum Custom Build

I got my Oracle Rgb outdoor led flex lights & my WiFi Rgb controller in today. All of these components are for a new build I’m doing on my truck. I will post more pics after I get all the other components back from fabrication. I can’t wait to see this all lit at night! The WiFi enables me to control all the lights from my phone.

I order two sets of these dual usb chargers to replace the stock cigarette lighters. I’m going to replace the front one below the thermostat and the center rear console.

Retrofitter sent me a notice they are back up and my lead time is 4-6 weeks! It’s only been two so far. So I won’t see them for a while.

 

If I had a railroad you bet. Lol. I’ve been wanting to do this stuff for awhile now.

Yes sir. It’s never done. I’m either work on the truck or Jeep. I just finished doing some wiring on the Jeep this morning. It’s my hobby to modify things.

Finally got around to installing my real carbon license plate frame. I like the way it looks!

 

Out with my original Opt7 led tailgate light and in with the new Opt7 with 1,200 leds! Here is a comparison of the two side my side.

 

All done and hardwired into the wire harness. I really like the look of this new led!

 

What have you done regarding hole for spare tire, I have first version like the one you removed but curious what would you do in case need spare tire I didn't use clips that came with the led light I did just use provided peel and stick to the surface Just curious if need spare tire what to do?

I’ve spent the last 30 minutes reading this thread. I was 1UPPED after the first 3 posts in this thread. Although most of these mods aren’t really for me, your attention to quality and detail is impeccable. Your truck is amazing.

That being said, do you have any good pics of you headlights and taillights in the daytime?

 

I don’t have a spare. If I have a flat I plan to get a tow truck, rental car and get a replacement tire. 37” tires won’t fit under the truck.

 

Thanks for the compliments. My current headlights are 17 with Morimoto 4.0 Projectors. There should be some pics of them on my build thread. Im not sure if this is what your asking for with photos of my headlights or not.

It’s a 4-6 week turnaround time. This retrofitter does a lot of sema builds. So he is backed up with work.

 

Does your tailgate rub against it in the center when you open it? I have the Recon 60" Xtreme Tailgate Light Bar and I mounted it as low as I could where it could still be seen over the bumper but the bottom lip of the tailgate was rubbing on it and started to scuff the paint. I just pulled it out.

 

No sir. My tailgate shuts and opens without any issue. How thick is your Recon led?
