2017 stock antenna removal

    2017 tundra 1794 edition
    So, the antenna kept hitting my garage door and it was driving me insane. Bought a stubby antenna and use XM almost exclusively so don't care about reception that much. Went to unscrew the stock antenna (Not a power antenna) and it just spins and does not unscrew.....anyone have a clue on how to remove it? Everything I've seen says it should just unscrew, but it doesn't.

    Look in your glovebox for the antenna removal wrench. They all come with the wrench in a little plastic bag in the glovebox, pops it right off.
