This is a 6 year old Tundra from the Northeast where most trucks rust. Doesn't it just look like they just painted the whole undercarriage? to try to hide rust? When I had my tundra undercoated at Toyota it looked different than this..Mine looked greasy, unless it just looks different in pictures.

I have a 2 year old truck in NC that has more rust on the leaf springs than that one has. POR15 paint looks like the finish in the pics and I'd be suspicious . If you have a buddy with one of those cameras on a stick, or a harbor freight near you, poke it inside one of the frame rails and take a look around... it might look quite different.

well, with the amount i save in mortgage payments alone between NC & CA, I could afford a new truck by the time it's rusted out several times over....

Yep, local dealer adds them on all their vehicles and then charges about 3 times their cost. They have some bullshit dealer package that also has nitrogen in tires. They make a ton of money pushing it on the uniformed.

No way in hell I would ever purchase a NE vehicle, unless it was brand new. We get these cars shipped out to Colorado quite often. Low miles, paint all polished up, and then you look under the vehicle or see the aluminum motor corroded. No thanks.

That’s exactly what they did. Chevy dealers like to do that quite a bit from what I’ve seen too.

The biggest one in Colorado Springs that does this is Lakeside Auto. They have
    dealerships out east.
