I am sure if something like this were worthwhile or we would be seeing more of it, at least some (or one). Noticing the 1yr warranty, probably not working much longer, guessing not long enough for the investment / payback.

Doesn't do shit. Makes steam at best, not Hydrogen. There is a reason our hydrogen gas is sourced from Natural Gas not water. Even if it did make hydrogen, you first had to burn fuel to spin the engine, to turn the alternator to make electricity, to separate hydrogen from oxygen (f'n hard to do without a catalyst) and then burn the hydrogen. Power losses in the engine (chemical to mechanical energy), drive belts (slippage), generator (electrical to heat energy), and then back to the engine make it less than worthless. The people that peddle this crap have no shame and know jack shite about chemistry and engineering.

I'm no expert, but i had a "du fuk?" moment when reading this

you usually use a catalyst, and you could separate the anode and cathode (still in the same system) if you wanted just hydrogen

Electrolysis works but for very high energy cost. No catalyst required but very inefficient.

Catalyst based conversion is being worked on at the moment.
