    This is the culvert. I already did the cupholder, but this little bastard insists on reflecting the sun almost everytime I allow my baby outa the garage. Something's gotta give :rant:

    This is great info. I thought I was stuck looking into the sun at high noon. Now I know it can be done w/o damage to the chrome piece around the shift trail.

    One more coat after this fresh one should do it, heat the can in warm water for a finer mist (dries to a consistent lustre):

    Are you using a paint or plasti-dip? If paint, what are you using to make the paint stick? Interested to do this as well as the mirror caps and handles.

    Great in the day but I’m wondering if it’s too shiny under upgraded LED map lights at night. Looks like I ArmourAll’d the large shifter area to death lol (I might strip that part off leaving what was originally gray and the chrome AD’d). Autodip also sells a matte black, uniformity unknown compared to Plastidip.

    I personally wouldn’t dip the handles, it’ll scratch off.
