Not great on ice, but exceptional in snow, especially deep snow. Not ideal for mainly highway use, but they look good. I’m on set #3 on 2 different trucks.

My wife's 1-ton Nissan van has them. She loves them. Great winter traction. They are very comfortable. She actually likes the ride better with DuraTrac than with the stock Michelin tires.

Got about 170K miles on two trucks. I find they get too loud for me around 45K. They also get a little thin for mud use by 45K. Generally really happy with them.

So far I like mine, although wasn’t impressed with snow performance, are you guys airing down quite a bit in the snow?

    Duratracs are excellent tires.
Have them on my work truck, tacoma and tundra.
Very good tire all around. Some say they are loud but I have never really noticed.

Had them on a work truck at my last job, behaved well both on road and off-road in sandy fields. Since when have they made them in 35x12.5? May give them some thought when my Ridge Grapplers wear out in a few years.

Never had them but from what I've heard most guys like them. Main complaints I've heard are they get loud after a year or 2, they are not good in ice, they tend to chunk in rocky conditions and they wear quickly.
They are supposed to be great in deep snow and mud and have decent road manners.

I wouln’t say from my experience that they wear quickly, the one set I did wear down I put 59,000 km (36.6K miles) on in the Tacoma, and sold the set with legal tread above the wear bars.

For an “off road” tire that did see more than a few miles of dirt and nasty rock, I was happy.

Of course, a highway oriented tread and rubber compound will get better treadwear, but at the expense of traction.

No chunking issues or sidewall failures for this guy, but all have been LRE, so overrated for the application.

They are a nice tire. The company I work for run them almost exclusively on the work trucks. The all season grip is amazing. This is because they are a softer tire (from what I can tell). That being said, do chunk out easily on gravel and rock. I would say compared to other similar tires I’ve ran they wear quicker. This is on a mainly gravel driven truck though.
Wish I could afford a set of 35s for my Tundra!!

I realize this is a couple months old. Any update on how you like them? I had them on my 14 4Runner and liked them. My Tundra needs new tires and I’m looking at them in the same size.

I love them so far I have 3000 Kms on them they are wearing awesome zero complaints I do need to get inch and a half wheel spacers tho is I do have some rubbing, I honestly wish there was some snow on the ground to see how they do but all in all best tires I’ve ever owned on wet roads 100% traction big puddles and off road I’ve never had a better tire
