Rear Differential Skid for 07+ Tundra - CAD Drawings and Feeler

There's some deep rutted roads where i live, 40's wouldn't keep the diff off the ground either. Easier to just add a skid.

 

I’d be in pending design, but based on what I’ve seen from those guys, it should be pretty good.

This thing needs a shovel skid, or a pinion guard, if we’re giving input on the design. Also needs to be reinforced in the L direction

 

I almost forgot how much fun that was. Excited to go back there soon. maybe we'll actually find the rock this time instead of just driving right past it.

I'm less interested in protecting our enormous third member than I am in covering the spider gear and part of the shaft. Maybe just the tip.

 

I feel like I've been hearing this my whole life.

Do any tundra pumpkins have removable rear covers?
I don’t think so. I have had pumpkin covers on other trucks peel back from boulder dragging but don’t think that these are really vulnerable.

 

Update: We do have CAD drawings. I've been working with the guy since last night to get dimensions and some initial questions/concerns answered that way I can post everything up at once and give you as much details as possible. Then we can address any additional questions/concerns from there.

With the new CAD drawings, I have moved passed the ‘hmm’ stage... Not sure what to call that but it’s very close to
