Need some info, checked the whole thread on 14+ and can't find any info on changing to power folding mirrors. I am wanting to go to power folding on my A'15 LIMITED. Anyone tell me what is needed to upgrade to power folding mirrors, besides the obvious, new mirrors and switch. I've already bought both, just haven't installed yet. Will I need to do some wiring, or will it be a plug and play? Thank you for any assistance.

So...through TundraCrew on Facebook...they had a thread in February. It actually references "another" tundra forum. Give me a few and I will get the link.

Limiteds don't have folding mirrors? huh

Install the mirrors and the switch, if it's pre-wired, then you're done. If they don't work, then you'll have to run the wiring yourself following the thread linked above.

I have not completed it yet. Just installed the mirrors and the switch. Still needs wires added for the power fold and the bottom lights.

Thanx for the info. That's what I'll do, hook up and hope, if not I'll make it work. I'll post up my findings once all is finished. Most likely won't get to it till middle of next month. I work offshore and am heading out on Tuesday

Limiteds should come with the folding mirrors. That is where I got my folding ones from. On from someone that switched to tow mirrors, one from a wrecked limited.

    But limiteds don't, platinums do.

I found a set of tow mirrors, with power everything, including power folding and defrost for $375

Power folding was on Limiteds up to 2012 I believe. Currently only Plat and 1794 have them OEM.
