Sooooooo i've been wondering why they put those on there and been debating on taking them off for a quite a while, I finally did and I think the truck looks so much better with them off. It was super easy too. Thoughts??

Not a big deal to me. No one sees them unless they like staring at your door jams. De-badging/stickering taken to extreme IMHO. Those stickers have some important info on them and the next buyer may want to know why they were removed. Not a big deal though. (You asked)

Whatever trips your trigger. Not the first thing I'd think of doing. Certainty can't hurt, although I've never had anyone ask me why my door jam stickers are still there. If it looks better to you then all is good.:thumbsup:

@matluth you are thinking of the wrong stickers. He is saying the outside ones between the doors.

Haha I can agree that removing the door seal stickers would be debadging on the OCD level. Def talking about the ones in the pictures. I'll circle them next time.

Technical lingo is: "B" pillar appliqué. You've just converted your "hardtop" look to a "post" car look (old hot rod speak).

The "hardtop" look (black) does look better IMO too.

I put carbon fiber over my black pillars to tie them into the rest of the carbon fiber I used on the truck.

Dang. It sounded like you were talking about the door jam stickers. I was wondering why?? heh heh. I tweaked my back pretty good a couple of days ago. Pain killers are good apparently.

Lol I just had some added to my truck because I think it looks better with them especially on light color vehicles with tinted windows. Also gives people somewhere to push the door closed that isnt white.

To each his own though, truck looks good either way!

Who put the white sticker on there? Did you buy the truck used? I don't think they come from the factory like that. Anyways, I think it looks better without them. Kinda reminds me of an F150 with them on there.

Ahhh, now I know what you where referring too. I was thinking along the same lines as Matt. It's like that game where you have to look at both pictures and figure out what's different, lol.

Yeah I'm confused too. Was there a white sticker covering the black or a black sticker covering the white?

So no matter what color of truck...there is paint under the sticker? If so i would like to take mine off too! Do they peel off easily?

IMO darker trucks look better without the tape, and white trucks look better with the tape. Especially if its a double cab, because the tiny back windows look a little awkward.
