I can speak from experience for I drove a Ridgeline for 10 years. The Ridgeline is designed to strictly be a pavement pounder, but is a decent one. I put 240,000 miles on mine with only maintenance service. Absolutely no repairs. IMO, it is not even in the same league as the Tundra and I do like the Tundra much better. BTW, the new design Ridgeline is basically the Pilot with a bed.

Had a ridgeline for 10 years.. never had an issue.. did well on the beach and had a ton of storage. In bed trunk is sweet as is the tailgate that opens both ways. I just wanted more room for my kids

I didn't mind the old body style Ridgeline. My buddy has one with a suspension lift and some 32" tires. Looks pretty cool. They ruined it with the new design in my eyes.

Like someone else mentioned, you only drove 6,000 miles a year and I am sure you lost money on the trade in etc. Should've just kept the Tundra.

I think I just threw up a little.

Always better to have too much truck, IMO.

I am a big fan of Honda......CARS. They make great cars. Glad to see that you got yourself a nice Honda car there. Did they give a good discount for your man card?

I use my Tundra, to take my ass to work, take the trash off, pull my pontoon to the lake once or twice a month. Do I truly "NEED" my badass, gas drinking Tundra, probably not. But there is no way in hell would I trade it for anything, especially not a 4 door vagina with a bed.

Congrats OP. The Ridgeline is actually a pretty awesome vehicle, despite what some of the clowns in the previous posts call it; I guess you could have expected that. Anyways, my wife has had 4 honda minivans and we have put about 600,000 miles total on them over 15 years; never any significant issues. They are just as reliable as Toyotas and the Ridgeline features (in-bed trunk, dual-action tail gate etc) along with smooth ride and better than Tundra's MPGs makes it an awesome vehicle. Enjoy!

Nice! We have a friend in Houston that did the Monaro conversion. It's badass. We have a few parts from Australia (Lou's short shifter and some other minor parts). But most of our mods are in the engine bay...

Yup still on LS1GTO. I was referring to HRJ. We've been a couple of cruises including a big one at Fredericksburg. Ours is "just" 525hp...;)

Honestly, I've always wondered why Honda never got into the full size truck market. After Nissan did in 2004 and Toyota made the Tundra a true full size truck in 2007, I figured Honda would jump in the game. But they sell so many Accords and lawn mowers I don't think they give a crap lol.

I don’t think Honda would have been able to compete and they know it. They barely sell any of the Ridgelines.
