Had the install today and my dealer didn't even charge me. Anyway, took a look underneath and noticed there is no place to attach the plastic tabs from the bumper so it is just hanging like in the picture. Anyone see a problem with just leaving it as is or do you think I should drill a hole in the plate and secure it? Thanks

Front is at top of photo and this the drivers side.

    nothing wrong other than flapping.
can you tuck it up into the skid? or maybe drill a small hole for the plastic grommet?

I would definitely drill and pin those 3 tabs.
Assuming that you got the skids because you go off road sometimes, going in reverse over some brush could allow that entire edge to get flipped backwards.
    That’s my.02

Of course you could just join up with those GoFastGlamper boys, they NEVER go anywhere in reverse, always full speed ahead!

Thought about cutting it off. My off-roading is related to hunting so way overkill on the B.B. skid for sure. Although I think would be fine leaving as is, I didn’t think about backing up through brush that could grab onto these tabs. What about some self tapping stainless steel bolts?

The 3rd gens might be different, but on my 2nd gen, I just sandwiched those tabs between the skid plate and the crossmember. Works great.

Both the RCI and the TRD Pro skids come with the holes. Drilling 3 holes should not be too much of a job. Too easy not to just do it.

Was lighting the Egg for dinner and went under the truck. Tucked the tabs over the bottom of the skid. I’m going to leave it this way as it seems like they should stay. Felt like enough pressure anyway. Thanks for ideas and the posts. Love this place.

He probably doesn't want to drill into his new powdercoated parts, and I don't blame him.

If you DO end up drilling into it, paint the holes, then pop some rivnuts in there and you'll have a threaded insert to use a proper screw.

Thanks for replying as I had forgotten to check on the plastic tabs. I just looked and they are tucked under exactly as I left them. I’m going to leave them as is. All good.
