    I think I just found my next mod. I'm thinking install this in the camper shell. Anyone has experience with this brand?

    No experience with that brand but I had one in my work truck and it was badass!!!! I could run power tools off of it and I’m pretty sure it was a 2000

    I had a 2200W generator/inverter and liked it but the power was inconsistent so my heater kept turning off

    I have a 2000W in my work van, completely different style. I also have a 2nd battery powering it on top of the primary van battery. I have a 700W microwave, coffee maker (in the mornings), laptop, drill charger, and a few miscellaneous things all powered at once with no issues. Hot lunches daily:D

    It was rated WAY lower in amperage, but the alternating power wasn’t appreciated by the heater.

    I had one in my side bin but the only use I had was the outlet in the cab or plug in to the inverster in the side bin

    I have 2 power strips coming off of that. One runs to the cab, the other above the microvave. I also have florescent lighting coming off of it. And of course, a fire extinguisher mounted next to it in case of massive over-load failure.:rofl:

    I asked the same question a year ago and forgot what the answer was, but if it were me I’d add a second battery and connect the alternator

    I have something like that too. I think it's good for in-cabin use and put away when not needed.

    I have a 2000 watt Tripp Lite powerverter. Bought it back when i was doing a lot of installs and was going to get an extra long work van and have it permanently mounted in the back of the van...but i am happy that i dont install much anymore and work exclusively in my shop now. I do take the inverter when we go camping couple times a year. Sure nice to know i have it if i ever need it. I also have a small inverter..think its 250watt.
