19 years since my last new truck!!

    My first new Toyota was a wonderful '84 XtraCab 4x4 SR5 pick-up that was also my first new vehicle!! Then there was a new '88 Land Cruiser - wish I still had both of those. My wife's current daily driver is a 2010 4Runner Trail model - wonderful truck that has served us exceptionally well!! Numerous long road trips... But I have wanted more room, more power, more towing capacity, since I gave my son my '99 RAM (sorry, am I allowed to use that word here? Lol!!) 10 years ago. So... Last week my wife and I picked up a new 2018 SR5 Tundra "Inferno" 4x4 Crewmax TRD off-road package - with ALL options except running boards, which I did not want anyway. Since then I added the bumper step, TRD rear sway bar, X-15 tonneau cover, bed mat, chrome exhaust tip, raised black "Tundra" letters on the tailgate, weathertech mats, bed lights and a few other items are here and ready to be installed... I've not been this excited about a new toy since I got my road racing car about 15 years ago!! Looking forward to learning much more, making this truck my own with hood bulge LED lights, blacking out (one way or another) all the chrome up front, adding some off-road lights, fender flares, and who knows what else... And, I am always happy to share anything I might learn along the way. Thanks for the add!!

    Thanks all!! The red was a very close second choice but my wife's 4Runner is red. Figured it might look odd having two reds... My other garaged vehicle is a white '99 Mustang Cobra. We considered the "Smurf" blue - then we would have had red, white and blue!!
    BTW, currently live in Yuma, AZ and spend time in both San Diego and Phoenix. Moving to Sedona soon - can't wait to get up there full time!!

    Thanks!! I saw the Sedona meet... Are you gonna make it? I'm sadly gonna miss this one. ~ In the process of evicting a deadbeat tenant out of my Sedona house. Once that's done we'll be back up there much more often again - no more renters!!

    This was an epic day a few years ago at the top of Schnebly in the 4Runner!!
